Welcome to Studio Optix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of studiooptix.com and any purchase made through it (the "Services"), operated by Studio Optix, 63 W 49th St, New York, NY 10112. By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

Prescriptions

Prescription eyewear and contact lenses are made and dispensed to a valid prescription. Contact lens orders are processed only after we have a valid contact lens prescription on file, in accordance with the federal Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act. If you were examined at another office, email your prescription to info@studiooptix.com; we may verify prescriptions with your prescriber before fulfilling an order. Expired or unverifiable prescriptions will delay or cancel an order.

Content on this site is provided for general information and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For concerns about your eyes or vision, schedule an examination or call us at (212) 765-4444. If you are experiencing an eye emergency, call us or seek immediate medical care.

Orders, pricing, and availability

All orders are offers to purchase and are subject to acceptance. We curate limited-quantity, independent eyewear; an item may become unavailable after you order, in which case we will contact you and cancel or adjust the affected portion. We may correct pricing or descriptive errors at any time; if a correction affects an order you placed, we will offer the choice of confirming at the corrected price or cancelling for a full refund to your payment method.

Returns

Purchases are governed by our Returns & Exchanges policy.

Vision insurance

Our website features streamlined, bundled lens packages for popular prescriptions. In-store pricing and lens offerings may differ, as our on-site optical lab provides a wider range of custom digital designs, lens materials, and direct vision insurance processing. This site is not equipped to process any vision insurance claims on your behalf. If you wish to use in-network insurance benefits or have more complex needs, please visit us in person.

Accounts

Shopify customer accounts on this site are separate from our patient records, which are maintained in our practice systems. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your contact information current.

Intellectual property

All content on the Services — text, photography, graphics, and marks — belongs to Studio Optix or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission. Brand names and logos of the eyewear designers we carry belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Optix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
